Description
The search in KnowledgeTree Explorer does not display any results if one of the documents in the resultset contains an accented character in its title (e.g. ëéèäãñóô). In some cases KnowledgeTree Explorer may also display an error message -
This issue has also been found to occur on Linux-based KnowledgeTree servers, whether results contain accented characters or not.
Affected Installations
KnowledgeTree Tools 3.5.4 and 3.5.4a
How to resolve this issue
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps to apply the patch provided:
1. Download the patch at the following link: http://kt-download.s3.amazonaws.com/customer-files/search.inc.php.zip
2. Backup and replace the following files with the version in the patch archive:
<KnowledgeTree Install Directory>/knowledgeTree/search2/search/search2.inc.php
3. Open KnowledgeTree and clear your browser cache (CTRL+F5)
